As you surely remember, Seddique's son Omar Mateen shot and killed 49 people at a gay nightclub in Orlando back in June, and it's still unclear whether his motivations were due to his sexuality or an alleged allegiance to ISIS.
Following her speech, Mz. Clinton's team released a statement saying while they did not explicitly invite Mr. Mateen to the event… all are welcome, so they never would have turned him away.
Despite his son's deplorable act, Seddique maintained a positive outlook on the upcoming election, and even spoke out against Donald Trump, telling reporters:
"Hillary Clinton is good for United States versus Donald Trump, who has no solutions. I love the United States, and I've been living here a long time."
We couldn't agree more, Seddique!
While the loss of 49 of their peers is obviously still painful for the community, we're just glad locals aren't holding Omar's crimes against all Muslims.

On Tuesday, the biological mother of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's adopted daughter Zahara vocalized her interest in becoming reconnected with her flesh-and-blood. Huh.
