The actor's lawyer, Laura Wasser, and his former flame's attorneys, Samantha Spector and Joseph P. Koenig, appeared before a judge for a status hearing regarding the scandalous case.
The legal teams mostly focused on their clients' depositions, and Miz Wasser insisted that the 53-year-old won't be testifying until after the Texas native has her depo.
As we all know, the gorgeous gal didn't answer a single question on Saturday, when she was supposed to be deposed by the Kentucky native's lawyer.
So, the judge scheduled both depositions for later this week. The court also stressed that Johnny is not allowed to attend Amber's interview, and vice versa.
Laura also requested that the hearing get pushed back to space out the testimonies and the hearing, arguing that "this is really weighing heavily" on the famous father.
And even though she asked for extra time, the renowned celeb lawyer also exclaimed that she "would like to do it in the most expeditious manner to get it done and behind us."
So, the judge decided Wednesday, August 17, would be the new date of the hearing, two days after it was initially scheduled. And, the court also extended Amber's restraining order to this day.
It'll be interesting to see if either Johnny or Amber actually gives a deposition this time around.
