But now we've got ANOTHER exciting announcement!
Mere weeks after J.K. Rowling announced the end of the Harry Potter franchise, it's been revealed that the famed author has written three collections of short stories that will explore the "dark roots" of the wizarding world!
The eBooks, which are presented by Pottermore, will each explore a different area of Rowling's universe!
The first book, titled Power, Politics And Pesky Poltergeists, will take a look at the "ruthless roots" of Professor Dolores Umbridge as well as focus on the relationship between Professor Horace Slughorn and Voldemort when the baddie was a student at the magical school.
Heroism, Hardship and Dangerous Hobbies will center on Minerva McGonagall and Remus Lupin; finally, Hogwarts: An Incomplete and Unreliable Guide will take a look at the secrets of Hogwarts!
Pottermore CEO Susan Jurevics spoke with TIME about expanding the Potterverse, saying:
"Pottermore Presents is intended to supplement the Harry Potter book series with short-form content that is entertaining and thematically curated by the Pottermore editorial team."
If you're interested in the eBooks, they're only about $3 each and you can preorder them on Pottermore HERE or other online book retailers like Amazon ahead of their September 6 release!
