And the divorce drama continues!
On Wednesday, Ed Hartwell responded to his estranged wife Keshia Knight Pulliam's claims that he was planning on harming their unborn baby. Hmm, go on!
In newly filed court documents, the former NFL linebacker defended to the Superior Court of Fulton County:
" [He] emphatically denies that he has ‘purposefully misled' anyone about [Pulliam]'s pregnancy."
In case you forgot, this update comes shortly after The Cosby Show alum accused Hartwell of being emotionally and mentally abusive and hinted that Ed was harassing her via an unknown, Las Vegas-based phone number. Oh, and the Beauty Shop actress accused her former flame of engaging in certain "underhanded and unusual conduct" which is designed to cause her "to miscarry her unborn child." Eek!
Obviously, the 38-year-old didn't appreciate these claims as he clapped back in court:
"[Keshia] should be ashamed of herself for ever making such false and offensive allegations."
Those are certainly fighting words. Not to mention, the former Baltimore Ravens star also defended in the legal paperwork that he's not using their split for media attention. The documents noted:
"The Plaintiff [Hartwell] emphatically denies that he has exhibited despicable character and egregious demeanor by giving interviews to the media for financial gain. The Plaintiff would like to remind the Defendant [Pulliam] that she is the person who sat for an interview which was aired over a two (2) day period following the filing of her Answer to this Complaint."
BURN! In regards to the paternity of Miz Knight Pulliam's unborn little one, Ed says he's always been willing to test his DNA to confirm the child is his. Hartwell has also denied Keshia's claims that he needs a psychological evaluation. He snapped back:
"If either party has been mentally and emotionally abusive toward the other, it is [Pulliam]."
Oof. We have a feeling Keshia is going to have A LOT to say about this.
Stay tuned for more details as this intense case continues!
