Ryan Lochte is STILL standing by his story.
During a press conference on Thursday, Rio's Chief of Civil Police Fernando Velaso told the media that "there was no robbery" at gunpoint, like the Olympian had claimed.
Instead, investigators say the scandalized swimmer is making up this story to cover up the fact that he and his teammates vandalized a gas station bathroom.

But now, the 32-year-old's camp is claiming the press conference was a load of BS!
Sources close to the New York native say the cops were flat-out lying when they said the taxi driver picked up two women who claimed to be "dating" the athletes.
Apparently, the sports star's team says this is a personal attack on the Americans, since some of them — *cough* Ryan *cough* — have girlfriends.
Plus, his people are denying the claim that one of the guys involved admitted to fabricating the whole thing. Insiders insist Ryan, Gunnar Bentz, Jack Conger, and Jimmy Feigen are all sticking to the same story.
Thoughts, Perezcious readers?!
