OK, so they're together, but not like together together...
But -- and there's always a but -- the pair

Everyone grieves in different ways.
For those unfamiliar with the term, a Reborn Baby is a doll with very life-like and realistic features. These types of dolls, which retail between $150-$450 dollars, can be purchased on Ebay or through personal websites dubbed as "nurseries".
According to the DailyMail, the dolls are "born" following a VERY intense process:
"The dolls are created from a kit composed of the limbs and head made from vinyl and a trunk made from fabric which are painted several times to create the skin tone of newborn babies. They are then fitted with natural-looking hair and eyelashes."
Wow. Sounds intense.
Just received my reborn baby today! exciting 🙈 i know it may seem a little strange but my therapist suggested that having him may help me cope with my loss. #rebornbabyA video posted by Courtney A Stodden (@courtneyastodden) on Aug 24, 2016 at 6:41pm PDT
Well, we're glad the beauty is working with a therapist — that's great news to hear. Considering reborns are often used by mothers who've lost their children before or after birth, it makes sense Court's mental health counselor would suggest the doll as a means to cope.
Luckily for Ms. Stodden, most of her fans have rallied around her decision to purchase a reborn. The model's supporters took to her comments section to shut down haters who questioned her controversial decision.
Take a look at a few of the touching messages (below)!
- "Kcrsac: Stay strong; a lot of women are going thru the same thing and following you to see how to deal with this. Be their leader
- "Rebe.lcm: Hey, I would never judge because I know how hard loss is and all you people should know as well and should have sympathy. I hope this helps Courtney and doesn't hurt her poor heart because I couldn't imagine. One day you'll be a great mama, I absolutely know it!"
- cocochanel_mitziemoo: I'm not sure I 100% agree with this method.., but I do hope it's helping u to cope.. Much love sweetheart I can only imagine the pain u have gone through.. Maybe to soon for u but I hope u can try again.. Or even adopt if u can't try again I'm sure u would be a wonderful parent ❤️❤️."
Awww. It's sweet to see Courtney on the receiving end of a lot of love, especially in light of her recent troubling behavior. Hopefully the positive vibes will last all the way to C.S.' upcoming birthday on August 29!
