Back in June, filmmaker Matthew Fulks claimed Bey's long-form video ripped off parts of his 2014 movie Palinoia, but the judge told him "boy, bye!"
The 34-year-old that this isn't the case, because, in spite of some visual similarities, her art is all about a "proud black woman," while Matthew's piece centers around a depressed white man.
And, Jed agreed, writing in new court docs:
"Upon full consideration of the parties' briefs and oral arguments, the Court grants defendants' motion. A memorandum explaining the reasons for this ruling will issue in due course, at which time final judgment will be entered."
So, it seems Beyoncé wins big at the VMAs AND in court! LOLz!
