Melania Trump Files $150 MILLION Defamation Lawsuit Against Daily Mail For Suggesting She Was An Escort! Will Their New Retraction Change Her Mind?!

Melania Trump isn't one to make empty threats.

Last month, Donald Trump's wife threatened to sue Daily Mail, Politico, and a bunch of other websites for suggesting her former modeling agency secretly doubled as an escort service.

The outlets-in-question cited an article from Suzy magazine that alleged the beauties "pretended to be models, but they principally earned money as elite escorts."

Miz Trump promised legal repercussions, unless the sites took down the scandalous story AND issued a retraction.

And on Thursday, the model's lawyer, Charles Harder, slapped DM, and blogger Webster Griffin Tarpley, with a $150 MILLION defamation suit, claiming:

"The statements of fact in the Daily Mail Article are false. Plaintiff did legitimate and legal modeling work for legitimate business entities and did not work for any 'gentleman's club' or 'escort' agencies. Plaintiff was not a sex worker, escort or prostitute in any way, shape or form, nor did she ever have a composite or presentation card for the sex business. Plaintiff did not come to the United States until 1996. Thus, Plaintiff did not, and could not have participated in a photo shoot in the United States or met her current husband in the United States prior to that time."

The 46-year-old's attorney is the same man who helped Hulk Hogan win big in his case against Gawker Media, which ultimately put the site out of business.

So, apparently afraid of suffering the same fate, the UK tabloid has since deleted the controversial post, and even posted a retraction on Thursday!

The outlet insists their article "did not intend to state or suggest that these allegations are true, nor did it intend to state or suggest that Mrs. Trump ever worked as an 'escort' or in the 'sex business.'"

You can read the entire retraction here. Will it be enough to save the site from an impending legal battle?! SOUND OFF in the comments!
