Say it ain't so!
Now that The Devil Wears Prada has officially turned ten years old this summer, we've been secretly hoping the star-studded cast will reveal plans for a sequel!
Instead, we got the exact opposite.
While at the Deauville Film Festival in France, Stanley Tucci completely dashed our dreams of a second installment of the Anne Hathaway-led comedy.

On Saturday, the actor — who played Nigel in the fashion flick — told The Hollywood Reporter that there's no hope for Devil Wears Prada 2, saying:
"That's never going to happen."
STANLEY. NO. WHY.
Even though Meryl Streep and Emily Blunt have both said they'd be down for round two, AND the Hunger Games alum feels Nigel has been his favorite part throughout his career, the 55-year-old admitted he doesn't want to revisit the role, explaining:
"That role was so great because it was so beautifully written and he was incredibly funny and there was a real substance to it. It was a truly great American studio movie in every way. Perfect in every way. Sometimes it's best just to leave things. If you try to redo it, let's face it, there are very few sequels that actually work."
Fine, Stanley. Break our hearts.
Though he IS right about the first one being perfection…
We guess we'll just have to settle for re-watching the original 1,836,503,865 times.
Would YOU want to risk a DWP sequel??
