The evidence is expanding... And no, we don't mean baby bumps!

If Dick Wolf is involved, this will be a must-watch to see how it all comes together!
The legendary creator and producer of Law & Order: SVU is apparently getting together with none other than Zayn Malik on a new scripted series for NBC inspired by the latter's life experience a boy band!
The show, called Boys, will follow a "hugely successful" boy band, according to a report in Variety — something Malik undoubtedly knows all about with his rise to fame as part of One Direction!
"Dick Wolf is a legend and the opportunity to work with him and NBC to create a compelling drama series is awesome."
Dick's wife, Noelle Wolf, was the one who first brought the project to NBC. She'll also be on in a producer's role.
She said of the announcement:
"We were intrigued by the synergistic potential that Zayn brings to the project. ‘Boys' will be a show that's totally integrated on broadcast and digital platforms. Casting and original music will be major components, giving the show promotional potential on multiple levels."
Original music? Now you've got us interested!
The President of NBC, Jennifer Salke, sounded very excited about the whole thing being tied to Zayn:
"It's exciting to be diving into this project with such passionate and prolific producers. Zayn certainly brings an authentic point of view to this world where kids are catapulted into fame at a dizzying speed. On top of our excitement around the creative ideas being discussed, we have a lot of respect for the musical and digital ambitions behind the project."
For the record, at this point, Zayn is just working to develop it and does not (yet) appear to be tied to any on-screen time in the series.
Still, the drama, which will be written by Sherry Cooper Landsman and Jennifer Levin (girl power!), would mark Wolf's sixth project with the network, including SVU, Chicago, and others. No small feat at all!
Granted, Boys ought to be considerably lighter than SVU and some of the producer legend's other dramas, but if done right, it'll be no less interesting!
What do U think, Perezcious readers?! Do U like the idea of this series?! Will you tune in??
