If you've listened to pop radio at all in 2016 then you've DEFINITELY heard Charlie Puth's hit song We Don't Talk Anymore featuring Selena Gomez.
However, what you may not know is that the late Paul Walker actually had something to do with the track's success… at least according to Charlie!

Charlie and Selena's single is his second on the Billboard Hot 100 — but it's his first as a lead artist as he reached the Top 10 as a featured artist on Wiz Khalifa's See You Again off the Furious 7 soundtrack back in 2015.
While the the 24-year-old has honored the deceased actor in the past with his Furious tribute, the young singer is now actively attributing We Don't Talk Anymore's success to Paul, telling Billboard:
"It's truly incredible. [WDTA] entered the Top 10 on Paul Walker's birthday. I do believe that's a bit of his work from above. These achievements are so motivating to me, however I do not really know how to celebrate them. I don't go out much, so to celebrate, I started making another song in my room that night with a glass of champagne."
We're glad it's doing so well, but we're not so sure how we feel about capitalizing on Paul's death to
promote the track.
What are your thoughts on Charlie's statements??
