Cathriona White's secret estranged husband Mark Burton filed an explosive lawsuit against Jim Carrey on Monday accusing the actor of providing the prescription meds that ultimately killed Cat last September.
As you may recall, the 30-year-old tragically committed suicide nearly a year ago by overdosing on Ambien, Propranolol, and Percocet.
The new lawsuit claims the drugs in question were found in pill bottles bearing the name Arthur King, which is allegedly the 54-year-old actor's pseudonym.

Not only is it illegal in California to get prescriptions by misrepresenting your identity, but Burton's filing also claims Carrey gave White the pills just days before her passing… even though he reportedly knew she was prone to suicide and depression.
The suit also charges that The Mask star tried to cover his tracks by texting the Ireland native (after her death) about misplacing the drugs.
The lawsuit reads:
"This is a case about Jim Carrey using his immense wealth and celebrity status to illegally obtain and distribute highly addictive and, in this case, deadly, controlled substances."
So far no word yet from Carrey's camp.
We will keep you updated as the case progresses.
