Celebs React To Donald Trump's Inauguration -- See Who's Optimistic & Who Thinks It's Depressing AF!
Donald Trump is officially the 45th President of the United States.
Courtney Stodden went through a lot this summer.
So it's no wonder the blonde beauty is "still in the grieving process" following the heartbreaking miscarriage she suffered back in July. For Tuesday's episode of Allegedly with Theo Von & Matthew Cole Weiss, the 22-year-old discussed her controversial marriage to Doug Hutchison, her lost pregnancy, and the twosome's plans for trying to conceive again. Hmm, go on!
"It's hard to say another kid. Yeah, I suppose so. I'm still in the grieving process, so it's hard for me to answer that question. But you know, you never know. I'm only 22, so I have a long time to think about that."
We mean, Courtney has clearly been going through a difficult time as she recently shaved off all of her hair as a symbolic gesture to her "angel". However, the aspiring singer doesn't regret mourning her loss so publicly as she added:
"I've had so many people reach out to me – men and women – who've experienced it and they just said that I've helped them so much. When you think you're alone, not only in a miscarriage but in any trial in life, you feel like you are the only one and the world is closing in around you. I don't have any regrets about that at all. I got so much support and felt like I wasn't alone in that process."
Awww! Of course, the podcast's hosts were curious to learn how Courtney and Doug's marriage was doing amid their latest bump in the road. In case you forgot, the couple sparked controversy years ago when The Green Mile actor wed the then 16-year-old Courtney. Unfortunately, a couple years into their marriage, the duo separated for a year as the animal rights activist felt she needed to sow her "wild oats".
In regards to her initial separation from the Lost star, Stodden admitted:
"I [had] just recently finished a stint on Celebrity Big Brother in the U.K. and I think I turned 19 on the show and I was in the house for about a month and it was the first time I was away from Doug and I kind of felt like I was a college girl going away into a dorm or something with the cameras there. That was my first time away from Doug. After I got off the show, I was like, 'You know what, I need to sow my wild oats. I need to go out. I need to date. I need to screw.' So that was basically the primary reason for that separation and we were separated for about a year maybe."
While Courtney used her year long break from Doug to date and put herself out there, it seems as though the scandalized celeb didn't handle their split well as his "heart was breaking". She continued:
"He still remained there for me and he still was a really amazing friend to me. So after I did my thing, got it out of my system, I just realized what an incredible man he was."
So… what does all of that mean for Courtney and Doug now? Well, it seems like the couple are in a bit of a rough patch as Courtney noted:
"I think when a couple faces a difficult trial in life together, whatever that may be, it either tears you apart or brings you together. And I think right now we're kind of in the kind of crossroad point where we're trying to figure it out."
TBH, we're not surprised to learn about the pair's "crossroad point" as the Washington native was recently seen locking lips with a mystery woman on the beach. Huh.
Nonetheless, we're honestly wishing Courtney only the best as she takes the time to figure out what she wants out of life. We're thinking of you, girl!
