What a mess.
As you know, Angelina Jolie filed for divorce from Brad Pitt after two years married and twelve years together.
The 41-year-old is seeking full physical and half legal custody of the couple's six children Maddox, 15, Pax, 12, Shiloh, 10, and 8-year-old twins Vivienne and Knox.
Right now, everyone is talking about the September 14 incident where the 52-year-old actor allegedly was "verbally abusive and physical" with one or more of the kids on a private jet from France to the United States, and how it contributed to the split.
As we know, the case has been reportedly turned over to the FBI as the situation in question happened outside of the LAPD's jurisdiction.
Us Weekly reports, however, that the L.A. County Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) did speak with both Jolie and Pitt while aboard the plane last week — but "after interviewing both [Brad and Angelina], they let them go."

A source close to the Allied actor said:
"The investigation is still ongoing and [Brad] knows he is being investigated… He does not believe he committed abuse."
Despite what you may be hearing about the case, DCFS Public Information Officer Neil Zanville released a statement saying the organization could not discuss the matter publicly:
"We're prohibited by law from disclosing case-specific information or even identifying any involvement with any client."
Meanwhile, an insider assured E! News that whatever happened during the flight was a common disagreement between dads and "teenage boys" (So, Maddox?):
"This comes down to the kind of disagreements that sometimes occur between teenage boys and their father. This is where the situation has spiraled from. And Angelina as a mother can be very protective. [Angelina] has a totally different approach to parenting. She has a calmness about her no matter what screaming and yelling and playing might be going on around her. But Brad can sometimes react differently. And it can be difficult to discipline children, especially teenagers. Ultimately, they both love the kids. From time to time, Brad and Angelina see things from different perspectives when it comes to how to handle issues that may come up with them. And sometimes things can get out of hand. A growing family is a process, and sometimes the family can have disagreements."
So, as Angie remains in a rented Los Angeles home with the kids, we're curious to see how this all plays out with Brad.
