If you're anything like us, then you are greatly missing Daisy Ridley's presence on Instagram!
As we previously reported, the Star Wars: The Force Awakens starlet quit the picture sharing app after she received HARSH backlash for making sympathetic comments about victims of gun violence. Smh!

While many people thought the British beauty left the social media site over the unsought internet hate, Miz Ridley has since revealed her departure was because of something much deeper. During her appearance at the Student Academy Awards in El Lay, the 24-year-old noted:
"I felt a pressure being on it. I was like 'I need to post. Oh my God, it's been this many days'. It's actually been kind of nice not to be on it."
And it seems the up-and-comer has become content with her decision, especially as her fame continues to grow. She added:
"I'm 24. I have a lot of growing up to do. I have to deal with loads of stuff myself personally. For that to be projected with millions of people watching, that is like a bit of an extra pressure."
Fair, fair! Prior to deleting her Instagram page, Daisy was forced to take on internet trolls who shamed her for being too thin. Oof.
Nonetheless, DR's absence from IG may not be forever as she concluded:
"I think some people handle it well. Just right now it's not for me, but who knows."
Very exciting! Here's hoping Daisy decides to return to the app sooner than later!
