On Sunday, Brody's friend Taylor Mosher posted an Instagram comment criticizing the conduct of Terence Crutcher and Keith Lamont Scott, the two black men who were shot and killed by police over the past two weeks.
Caitlyn Jenner's son then reposted the message, adding his own out-of-touch commentary wondering why "everything these days is about race."
The now-deleted post read:
"I normally don't speak about this type of stuff, but this is just ridiculous. I can't even watch the news anymore without getting pissed off. This has nothing to do with race. White, black, brown, any color…if you have an officer of the law telling you to exit your vehicle (or do anything for that matter)…you comply. And not only do you comply, but you do so willingly and follow directions completely. And why in the world would you exit that vehicle with a weapon in hand (allegedly?!) That makes no sense! And if, let's just say, you DON'T have a gun, why would you not put your hands up in the air and state "I do not have a gun" so that the officers can clearly see that you don't??"
Sara Beltran-Hernandez, a 26-year-old mother-of-two, was awaiting an emergency surgery for a brain tumor this week -- but was instead forcibly moved by federal agents from the hospital to a detention center following Donald Trump's immigration ban.
A little background: Beltran-Hernandez was seeking asylum in the United States as a victim of domestic abuse in El Salvador back in November 2015 when she was picked up by immigration agents on her way to New York to visit her mother.
She's been detained in Prairieland Detention Center in Alvarado, Texas ever since -- until she was hospitalized in Fort Worth after a doctor discovered the brain tumor.
