This is such a sweet image in such a tough time for the entire family.
Brad Pitt Reunites With His Kids For The First Time Since Angelina Jolie Filed For Divorce — Plus, The Actress' Brother James Haven Is Now Playing 'Manny'
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's kids remain the number one priority.
As you know, the actress filed for divorce last month and is looking to get sole custody of all six kids while her estranged husband wants shared custody.
In a temporary agreement recommended by the Department of Children and Family Services, the former couple's six children Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, Vivienne, and Knox, will live with Angie until October 20 and Brad can have supervised visitation.
Now, it sounds like Brad has successfully arranged to reunite with his children for the first time under the terms of the agreement.
A source tells People:
"Brad has spent some wonderful time with children recently. Brad loves his children more than anything in this world, and they matter more than anything else to him. He will do whatever it takes to be with them, now and always."
An insider echoed this sentiment to Us Weekly, saying that a "frustrated" Pitt is willing to whatever it takes to get through this:
"Brad just wants to work through everything and get to a place where there can be some certainty about what's going on. The kids are the only thing he's hanging on to."
Meanwhile, another source revealed to the outlet that Jolie's older brother, James Haven, has stepped in to play "manny" to the famous kiddos at Angie's temporary Malibu home.
(Yes, the one the Girl Interrupted star used to publicly make out with all the time.)
The person close to the situation explained:
"He took on a more active daily role in June. The kids call him ‘Uncle James.'"
But don't worry, the sibs' past physical chemistry isn't a problem for the Allied actor:
"Brad thinks highly of James. He's always been incredible to the kids and is welcome in his home."
We already know they like to keep it in the family… LOLz!
