On Friday, Billboard named Madonna their 2016 Woman of the Year, and we are so happy for the iconic artist! The 58-year-old with be presented with the honor at the 11th annual Billboard Women In Music event later this year.

Janice Min, president and chief creative officer of The Hollywood Reporter-Billboard Media Group, absolutely gushed about the Queen of Pop while explaining why the mag gifted her with the top honor.

This year, the musician completely earned this AH-mazing recognition. She maintained her record as the highest-grossing female touring artist EVER, performed a touching tribute to Prince alongside Stevie Wonder, and remains the best-selling female artist of all time!

The blonde beauty is joining the ranks of fellow fierce females like Taylor Swift, Katy Perry, Lady GaGa, Beyoncé, Ciara, Pink, Fergie, and Reba McEntire!
Madonna will be officially inducted into this great group of gals at the Women in Music event on December 9 in New York City!
