On Tuesday, Chatwal's lawyer gave us an EXCLUSIVE statement denying the allegations! The rep said:
"The allegations against Vikram fly in the face of reality of who he is. He has 44 years on this Earth: not as a violent person, not as a hostile person, but as a loving, caring, valuable member of society who has only done good, charitable acts."
The attorney assets that his client is indeed an animal lover, and believes he will be "exonerated."
"Vikram is an animal lover. So something happened, we don't know what it is but it's not what the prosecutors said… we are prepared to vigorously litigate this matter until justice is done. Most important fact, no dog was hurt."
To prove that "no dog was hurt," they released the following photo of the "unharmed dog." According to the Manhattan hotelier's rep, this was taken the Monday following the incident.
