On Wednesday, Sarah Jessica Parker stopped by Howard Stern's SiriusXM radio show and cleared up a few misconceptions the public seems to have about her friendship with former Sex and the City costar Kim Cattrall. Hmm, go on!
As you surely know, for a long time now, it's been said the two A-listers feuded quite a bit during the filming of the HBO hit's six seasons and two films. However, the 51-year-old is ready to set the record straight as she dished to the radio host:
"These were my sisters. These were people that I grew to love and admire. And was every day perfect? Were people always desperately, hopelessly in love with each other? No but this is a family of people who needed each other, relied upon each other, and loved each other. And this sort of narrative, this ongoing cat fight, it really used to upset me for a very long time."
You tell 'em, girl! Not to mention, the Divorce actress truly hated when these catfight rumors painted her as unprofessional.
"It was upsetting because it was usually about bad behavior on the set and I take very seriously my reputation. I work very hard and I treat people well. And I have a work ethic that's very meaningful to me and it's based on the affection I feel for the people I get to work with and to suggest that I'm behaving poorly or not treating somebody well, it's so anathema that it would drive me bananas."
Well that's very fair! Also, Kim and Sarah don't really act like frenemies as the Hocus Pocus alum made sure to pen the industry vet a happy birthday message on Instagram back in August. Aww!
Anywho, we're just glad to hear from Parker herself that the ladies of SATC are as close as we hoped! Be sure to ch-ch-check out Miz Parker shutting down the feud rumors for yourself (below)!
