Carrie Underwood is always a breath of fresh air.
On Wednesday, the Church Bells singer was honored at the CMT Artists of the Year Awards in Nashville, Tennessee — and she stopped by to chat with ET about her many accomplishments and what's to come in the future, both personally and professionally.
As you know, the 33-year-old welcomed baby boy Isaiah with husband Mike Fisher back in February 2015, and the country superstar hit the road for her Storyteller tour earlier this year.
Reflecting, Miz Underwood said:
"The [Storyteller Tour] has been absolutely amazing. Isaiah's been there the whole way so [my professional life and personal life are] all colliding. Every day he does something new, so every day is wonderful with him."

While the couple has been open about wanting to add more kids to the bunch, the Heartbeat songstress admits it's out of her hands:
"It's all on God's timing and we just kind of realize we're not in control and just take things as they come."
As Mike approaches retirement from the NHL, Carrie says he'll probably dedicate his "second career" to giving back to others (because, #goals):
"He's such a busy guy. He's on [so many] different boards of charities and stuff like that. He's all about giving back and being involved and helping people. I think that will be his 'second career,' if you will."
If you're looking for new music from Carrie, the American Idol alum says she'll get back on the writing grind when her tour ends on November 28:
"I haven't started writing or anything for it, but I would imagine as soon as the tour wraps up, that will be the next thing on my mind."
Andddd just in case you couldn't be more obsessed with the Fishers, Carrie posted the photo (above) of them at the awards with the caption:
"How I ended up snagging this handsome hunk, I'll never know, but I thank God that I did! I don't know what I'd do without him! 😘"
