Ah, the days of Billy Bob Thornton and Angelina Jolie… much stranger and simpler times! LOLz!
In November's issue of GQ, the 61-year-old opens up about his life, career, and of course, his highly-publicized relationship with the Maleficent star.
In case it was before your time, Billy Bob and Angie married in 2000 after meeting on the set of the 1999 movie Pushing Tin… and divorced in 2003 after a very passionate and interesting relationship.
Several months before the split, the Fargo star and the actress announced they applied to adopt a child from Cambodia — something Miz Jolie went through with even after the breakup as a single parent, officially adopting Maddox, now 15.
BBT says the main reason his romance with Angie didn't work out is because he "never felt good enough for her."

While she dedicated her time being involved with the United Nations and mingling with the elite, Billy Bob preferred to stay home and watch baseball.
"I'm real uncomfortable around rich and important people … I like how I am."
Despite their split all those years ago, the Bad Santa 2 actor reveals he chats with his ex every few months, and when they do, it's like no time had passed. Minus the vials of each other's blood, hopefully.
As you may know, Thornton is now married to his long-time love Connie Angland, with whom he shares 12-year-old daughter, Bella.
Even though Connie is his sixth wife, he never wanted her to feel like a number — which is why they waited so long to tie the knot:
"I didn't want her to be called number six. You know?"
We guess it all works out in the end!
