To be honest, we'd take anyone at the table over Trump… even Candace Cameron Bure!
Bernie Sanders may not have been the name atop the Democratic ticket during last week's election, but that doesn't mean he's lost any of his passion since the Primaries.
While acknowledging that we still need to fight Trump's overwhelming "sexism, racism, and xenophobia," Sanders gave the bigot credit for uniting at least one of the parties, saying:
"Trump touched a nerve on the part of millions of people. You have a middle class for the last forty years that has been shrinking… You got millions of people living in extraordinary economic anxiety, and meanwhile, the very richest people and largest corporations are doing phenomenally well. And people are saying all over this country — black and white and Latino — ‘What about me? Whose going to stand up for me?' In my view, the Democratic Party has not been as strong as it should be in saying it will stand with the working people."
He has a point…
But Trump and Clinton weren't the only political people on Bernie's radar — He also fired some (well deserved) shots at FBI Director James Comey for his "unacceptable" email scandal and at recently appointed chief strategist Steve Bannon as well!
But did he think he ever had a chance of defeating Hillary??
