This year's Angel Ball must've hit pretty close to home for former Real Housewives of New York star Jill Zarin as she revealed at the charity event that her husband Bobby is battling cancer once again. So sad.

While chatting with E! News at the gala for the Gabrielle's Angel Foundation for Cancer Research, the Bravolebrity tearfully shared:
"He's getting the best of care. We like to share this story because we like to help everybody. We have a great team…He had thyroid cancer that had spread to the lungs but it's all going to be good."
As you may recall, Mr. Zarin was first diagnosed with thyroid cancer back in June 2009 and was treated with radioactive iodine therapy. Not to mention, the businessman also had his thyroid removed all together.
However, during one of Bobby's checkups at the Princeton Longevity Center, his docs discovered the cancer had spread to his lungs. The health professionals attempted to remove all of the tumors by using the da Vinci Robotic System. Nonetheless, last week, the couple learned the 70-year-old's cancer had spread to his brain.

Still, it appears as though Jill's husband isn't letting his sickness keep him down as he optimistically told the media outlet:
"It's just so fresh but I feel great."
Apparently, the Zarin Fabrics founder didn't show any symptoms the first AND second time he was diagnosed. On how they are handling this recent diagnosis, Miz Zarin noted:
"You have to live to live because we want to be here to raise money for cancer research. We want to live our lives to the fullest…We don't want to miss anything while Bobby's healthy and strong and we're just going to fight it."
Talk about being an inspiration! Currently, Bobby's treatment is being led by Dr. Ron De Pinho at MD Anderson, alongside Dr. Steve Sherman, Dr. Jeffrey Weinberg, and Dr. Mary McAleer.
Our hearts go out to the entire Zarin family as Bobby fights this latest bout of cancer.
