So sad.

Hawaii Five-0 actor Keo Woolford has died at the age of 49. His publicist, Tracy Larrua, told The Hollywood Reporter the Honolulu native passed away on Monday at a Hawaii hospital after suffering a stroke three days before.

The actor appeared on the popular CBS remake as Detective James Chang.

He's also appeared on the big screen over the course of his career, with roles in movies like Happy, Texas (1999), Falling for Grace (2006), and Godzilla (2014).

The artist enjoyed being behind the camera as well, having written, directed, and produced his 2013 independent film The Haumana.

The project closed the Hawaii International Film Festival, and earned Keo a special jury award for Best First Feature at the Los Angeles Asian Pacific Film Festival.

Sadly, the star's publicist revealed he had finished a script for the sequel, and was going to begin the casting process in January.

Throughout his life, Keo was well-rounded in the arts. He was a part of the Hawaiian boy band Brownskin, and also starred as the King of Siam in the stage version of The King & I, performing in the lead role at the London Palladium. He played the part hundreds of times throughout the run.

Our hearts are with everyone affected by this tragic loss.

Rest in peace, Keo.
