As you surely recall, Aiken and Studdard faced off against each other on the FOX singing competition waaaaaaay back in 2003. After a tight race, Ruben walked away as the victor with Clay being named his runner-up.
Despite remaining friends for all of these years, the two virtuoso vocalists haven't performed a duet together on TV since their Idol days… until now!
Ch-ch-check out the performance for yourself (below)!
Bravo! We honestly love how close these two have stayed over the last decade.
During their appearance on the ABC chat show, the singers opened about about their close bond as Ruben shared:
"He was one of the first people I met in Hollywood Week, and we've been friends ever since."
Awwwww! Aiken also added:
"We Face-Time once every week or so, still."
Here's hoping these two work on a duets album together sometime in the near future!
On Saturday, Todd Fisher, and his wife, Catherine Hickland, organized a public memorial service for his sister, Carrie Fisher, and mom, Debbie Reynolds, who died just a day apart back in December.
The beautiful service was held at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Hollywood Hills, and was live-streamed on Reynolds' website for all to experience.
Celebs, fans, and animals alike gathered to celebrate the lives of the legendary actresses with an event that featured a tribute song from James Blunt, a performance from the Gay Men's Chorus of Los Angeles, a dance tribute from the Debbie Reynolds dance school, and tons of costumes and memorabilia on display.
