Losing Carrie Fisher is a devastating end to an already awful 2016.
In hundreds of tributes from fans, friends, and costars, everyone is pointing out how the iconic actress made every moment brighter with her quick wit and irreverent bluntness.

And it turns out she's even making the event of her passing a little easier with a humorous line about her own obituary.
In her 2008 memoir Wishful Drinking, the actress wrote about one of the most ridiculous early experiences on the set of Star Wars — when director George Lucas told her she couldn't wear a bra!
"George comes up to me the first day of filming and he takes a look at the dress and says, 'You can't wear a bra under that dress.'
So I say, 'Okay, I'll bite. Why?'
And he says, 'Because… there's no underwear in space.'
I promise you this is true, and he says it with such conviction too! Like he had been to space and looked around and he didn't see any bras or panties or briefs anywhere."
Why? He had an explanation all ready for her:
"What happens is you go to space and you become weightless. So far so good, right? But then your body expands??? But your bra doesn't — so you get strangled by your own bra."
OMG that makes NO sense! The characters aren't in the vacuum of space!

But Carrie saw the potential in the visual, writing that she'd love for it to be included in her own obituary:
"Now I think that this would make for a fantastic obit — so I tell my younger friends that no matter how I go, I want it reported that I drowned in moonlight, strangled by my own bra."
Thank you one more time for making us laugh, Carrie! We'll miss you!
