We can't even begin to imagine how this family must be feeling right now.

Carrie Fisher's untimely passing has really rattled her loved ones, to the point that her autopsy is on hold. The Star Wars icon passed away Tuesday after going into cardiac arrest, and the LA County Coroner asked her daughter, Billie Lourd, for permission to perform the procedure, seeing as the Scream Queens star is the late legend's next of kin.

However, TMZ is reporting the 24-year-old was completely devastated by losing her mother, and turned the decision over to her father, Bryan Lourd.

And while the CAA boss was then given the authority to make that call, family insiders told the outlet that their attorneys told the coroner not to conduct the autopsy, because they had concerns they didn't disclose.

It's possible that Ms. Fisher's loved ones don't want the examination performed for religious reasons.

And then, autopsy plans became even more difficult when Debbie Reynolds suffered a stroke and died on Wednesday, because that further upset the family.

Now Perezcious readers, the coroner wants to conduct the procedure so he could find out what really happened when Carrie had that massive heart attack last week.

Specifically, the medical examiner wants to figure out what kind of medication she had been taking and compare it to her medical history.

But as of right now, the coroner can't move forward.
