What a tragedy.
As you surely know, Carrie Fisher and her mother Debbie Reynolds both passed away within a day of each other last month — and now, we are hearing the 911 calls from their individual incidents for the first time.
The 60-year-old Star Wars actress was moments away from landing in Los Angeles on a flight from London when she went into cardiac arrest and passengers with CPR experience tried to revive her.

You can listen to the call between United Airlines Operations and 911, obtained by TMZ, which reveals the pilot tried to speed up the landing (below):
Just a day later, Carrie's 84-year-old famous mother suffered a stroke at her home — where family was gathered in wake of Fisher's passing.
In the call from who is thought to be Debbie's son, Todd, you can hear the panic and distress as he speaks with the operator:
We just can't even imagine what the family is going through during such extreme loss.
The joint funeral for both of the late stars is expected to happen privately today, and we will keep you updated as we learn more.
