The Weeknd might be the hottest thing in pop right now, but he's still Abel Tesfaye from Toronto at heart.
During a candid chat with GQ, the King of Sex Pop opened up about his skyrocketing fame and revealed whether or not he is as sexually charged as his songs let on. Oooh, tell us more!

Although the False Alarm singer has churned out some of the biggest singles of the last year, Abel still seems pretty grounded in reality. When asked by the magazine if attention from groupies has given him an inflated ego, the A-lister dished:
"Listen, I'm not walkin' around like f*ckin' Idris Elba, know what I mean? It's like… You'll probably describe me in this fuckin' thing. I'm not—look at me, this is who I am. I'm not gonna walk into the club and be like, 'Oh shit, I'm the sexiest guy in here.' The reason why they want to f*ck with me is because of what I do [in the studio]. So I'd rather just focus on doing that."
Don't sell yourself short, man. We mean, there's a reason your ex Bella Hadid and, now current squeeze, Selena Gomez are into you!
As you surely know, the hitmaker and his supermodel former flame broke up back in November after dating for a year and a half. Nowadays, the Canadian-born star has been linked to Taylor Swift's bestie — mainly because they were spotted making out this week. Hot, hot, hotttt!
And while The Weeknd's songs are pretty deviant, he has a boyish charm to match his young looking face. When pressed by the reporter to comment on Donald Trump's "p*ssy grabbing" controversy, Abel proved that not every male star gets lost in fame, as he noted:
"I don't know anybody that would do that. I know a lot of people in the industry, and I don't know anybody. Like, a random girl that, like, you just spoke to? No. I mean… No. How do you even grab a p*ssy? Like, is it even grabbable? America, man. They never fail you."
Preach. The Weeknd might not be some egotistical monster, but it seems like he isn't rushing to settle down either, as he relayed:
"I feel like I'm the kind of guy that would have kids before getting married. The first thing would be kids. Marriage is scary to me, man."
Sorry, Selly G. Not to mention, Tesfaye is in a different place than he was when he first started out:
"Right now. I'm much more, like, self-regulating than I was four years ago, when I first started getting everything and enjoying life. I don't focus on it as much as I used to. You know what I mean? Before, it's like, ‘Holy f*ck—this is amazing.' Right now, it's like a good song turns me on way more. Like, that gets me horny, like, literally gets me horny."
Everyone taking notes? We know we are….
