We doubt Hillary Clinton's going to be happy about this!
On Wednesday, it was confirmed that American Crime Story has tapped the Bill Clinton-Monica Lewinsky sex scandal for a future season of the true crime anthology. Whoa.

According to Variety, the producers for ACS (along with Fox 21 TV and FX Productions) have optioned Jeffrey Toobin's book, A Vast Conspiracy: The Real Sex Scandal That Nearly Brought Down A President, for an upcoming installment of the hit program. It's said the text positions the infamous sex scandal as a legal thriller as it examines Paula Jones, Kenneth Starr, and Miz Lewinsky's roles in the '90s controversy!
While we feel badly that the former Secretary of State may have to relive her husband's cheating ways in a dramatized series, we do think this potential season will be VERY inneresting. Why? Because Toobin has already collaborated with ACS once before.
Yup, the 10-time Emmy winning show's first season about the O.J. Simpson trial was based on his tome The Run of His Life: The People v. O.J. Simpson. But don't get too excited about seeing the Bill-Monica drama on your small screen, as we'll have to wait a while before it airs!
The Ryan Murphy/Brad Falchuk produced drama has two seasons in productions currently. Specifically, ACS's second season about the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina won't air until 2018, with the third season about Gianni Versace's murder will follow shortly after that. There's no need to fret though, since Murphy's Feud anthology drops on FX on March 5.
What do YOU think? Are you hyped about this future ACS season?
