Katherine Heigl and husband Josh Kelley are over the moon with the arrival of their little boy, Joshua Bishop Kelley!
In case you missed it, the Doubt actress gave birth to their first biological baby together back in December, but kept the news quiet until just a week ago! Joshua joins his adopted big sisters, Naleigh and Adalaide, to make one big happy family.
Speaking to People for a new interview, Katherine shared her initial surprise at finding out she was expecting!

The 38-year-old divulged:
"It was a surprise! I knew I wanted to expand our family, I knew I wanted to have more children. I just didn't know how we were going to go about that."
Especially since she describes herself as "one of those people who really thinks, I have to schedule, I have to plan this out"! She found out the happy news just ahead of getting back to work for the TV series:
"I'll be totally honest, my first reaction was ‘Oh shit.' But now we have a new normal, and I have to give myself a break in order to get used to it."
Even pregnancy "didn't ever really speak to me. I got really invested in adoption. I didn't look back or even think about it," she revealed, explaining:
"Only when I was about 35 did I start going, ‘Well, should we consider getting pregnant?' You don't want the choice to be taken away from you."
After all, adoption has always been important to the starlet, whose older sister Meg was adopted from Korea before she was even born. Katherine even has Meg's daughter Madison living with them on the family ranch in Utah to grow her equestrian skills:
"This little boy is going to have all these girls fawning over him."
Aww!! He really is!!
"We're at the point where we're really obsessed with him! With a newborn, you're forced to be still … and you have this beautiful reason to do that."
We're so glad the parents are able to enjoy every second with their little one! And in fact, the momma of three is even considering having another:
"I'd get pregnant again, and I still am very inspired by adoption. I also have been thinking a lot about fostering. It's all up in the air. And I'm okay with that!"
Well, congrats again!
