A One Direction reunion is not totally out of the question!
On Friday, Louis Tomlinson stopped by the TODAY show to promote his new single with Steve Aoki called Just Hold On. However, before the father-of-one got to performing his hit, he opened up about the possibility of 1D getting back together.

While chatting with Matt Lauer and Natalie Morales, the A-lister noted:
"There's time for that. Nobody knows when. I think we're enjoying a bit of time to ourselves, exploring our own solo things."
Makes sense! Louis is just the latest alum of the boy band to drop a solo project as Niall Horan already released his track This Town and Zayn Malik's album Mind Of Mine hit shelves in 2016. Not to mention, Harry Styles is starring in Christopher Nolan's WWII flick Dunkirk.
Of course, we don't blame the 25-year-old for wanting to take a bit of time to himself. In case forgot, this appearance on the NBC news program comes only a month after his mother Johanna Deakin's death. Nonetheless, it was Louis' momma's dying wish that her son continue on with his scheduled appearances. So sad!
Also, without the pressures of being in One Direction, Tomlinson is able to spend more time with his one-year-old, Freddie Reign! TBH, we're just glad to see Louis' doing okay after is recent loss.
Be sure to ch-ch-check out Louis and Steve's performance for yourself (below)!
