The former California governor turned Trump's Celebrity Apprentice successor had some strong words for the President's controversial ban on immigrants, saying he thinks the executive order "makes us look stupid"!
The Terminator star stopped by Extra on Monday and told Mario Lopez he thinks the ban was "vetted badly" — and would have seen less backlash had Trump's team more carefully thought it out.
Arnie said the fresh-faced administration should have really studied the policy with the Justice Department and Homeland Security before signing it, but instead they were too "hasty." He explained:
"I know what he's trying to accomplish — his fear about people coming in from other places, causing harm to the country. There is another way to going about it to do it the right way and accomplish all of the goals. I think they were hasty with it."
LOL, understatement of the year!
The 69-year-old then added his own experience as an immigrant to show just how "crazy" this rushed out ban is, continuing:
"To go and ban people who have a green card. That means that the United States of America has given you permission to work here permanently and you are on the way to permanent citizenship. … I was in that position. … It's crazy. It's crazy and makes us look stupid when the White House is ill-prepared to put this kind of executive order out there."
News is just coming in that Kim Zolciak-Biermann's son Kash, 4, was bitten by a dog at some point on Saturday night, with "traumatic injuries" so extensive, it required multiple hours of surgery afterwards.
