We guess those final four words weren't so final.
As you may recall, back in November, Lauren Graham and Alexis Bledel reprised their roles as the fast-talking mother-daughter duo for Netflix's reboot of the Gilmore Girls. At the time, there was a lot of press surrounding the last four words of the show — which is how the creator, Amy Sherman-Palladino, wanted to wrap up the entire series.

However, according to Netflix's Chief Content Officer Ted Sarandos, more Gilmore Girls episodes may be on the way. In fact, while chatting with the UK's Press Association, Sarandos noted that the talks are "very preliminary" when discussing the future of GG. Hmmm, very inneresting.
"We hope [it happens]. We obviously loved the success of the show [and] fans loved how well it was done; it delivered what they hoped. The worst thing is to wait a couple of years for your favorite show to come back and for it to disappoint you, but [series creator Amy Sherman-Palladino and exec producer Dan Palladino] sure delivered and people were really excited about more. And we have been talking to them about the possibility of that."
Woo hooo! Although, we can't say we're necessarily shocked that Netflix is eager to return to Stars Hollow. Especially since Miz Sherman-Palladino refused to rule out expanding her GG universe. Back in December, Amy told TVLine:
"I don't rule anything in my life out. When people were talking about a Gilmore movie [after the original series ended] I was always like, ‘That's not going to happen.' But I wasn't going to say no. Because… why say no to anything?"
Honestly, we could use more Lorelai Gilmore in our lives right now — and we HAVE to find out what's going to happen with *spoiler* Rory and her pregnancy. But for now, we guess we'll just have to watch old episodes on the streaming site. *sigh*
