When daddy's away, the boys will play — and totally run a multi-million dollar company by themselves!
That's the story Donald Trump Jr. hoped everyone bought during a GOP fundraiser in Dallas, claiming he had little to no contact with his father since Donald Trump became president.
On Saturday, the 39-year-old businessman told attendees he barely speaks to his father now that he and brother Eric run the family business.

According to The Daily Beast, he said in his address:
"I basically have zero contact with him at this point."
That should be the case, seeing as the two sons took control of the business even though POTUS retained his financial interest in the company — which drew much criticism from ethics officials.
While his main focus is running the family biz, Donald Jr. said he is still very much involved in politics, adding:
"I thought I was out of politics after Election Day and [would] get back to my regular life and my family. But I couldn't."
Um… what exactly is he alluding to here? Trump's administration claims they are completely against mixing politics with business — but we guess an exception is made for Trump's personal stuff.

Trump's eldest son, better known as Don, added that despite running a company, a career in politics can be quite thrilling. He continued:
"Deals are still exciting. But when you're the sort of guy out there every day, 24-7 fighting in this thing — it's like a great fight."
Yup, that's how we feel, too. A constant fight against the insanity of Trump's self-serving presidency.
For the record, documents have shown that orange POTUS is still benefiting from his business.

The president promised to place his assets in a trust before taking office, and that trust is legally controlled by Donald Jr., who "has the power to revoke the Trust."
Even though the trust is designed to separate the president from the businesses that made him wealthy, he will still benefit if the business profits from decisions made by his government.
Knowing that, it's GREAT news Donald Jr. confirmed he has "zero contact" with Prezzy, the same man who claimed his predecessor wiretapped his hotel during the 2016 election and blasts all statistics that make him look bad as "phony."
Yup, we totally and completely believe you, Donald Jr.!
