How you doin'? Not well, apparently!
Earlier this month, it was announced that Wendy Williams would host Fierce Fridays, a live RuPaul's Drag Race viewing party that would air on VH1 right before new episodes of the hit competition show.

However, many of the program's past contestants are calling BS on this casting choice!
On Monday, drag queen Detox — who appeared on the fifth season — posted the following screenshot on Instagram of a Facebook message from fellow performer Stephanie Stone accusing the talk show host of kicking Erick Atoure Aviance out of her audience for dressing in drag:
Drag Race judge Michelle Visage agreed with the post by commenting, "Yup."
Additionally, RuPaul's Drag Race: All Stars season 2 winner Alaska further condemned Williams by posting the following on Insta:
Alaska released a statement to UnicornBooty criticizing Wendy's "questionable" statements towards Caitlyn Jenner during her public transition.
"Frankly, I think the decision to make Wendy Williams one of the hosts of the weekly spots framing commercial breaks for RuPaul's Drag Race's weekly broadcast is tone deaf, untimely and incorrect. I used to watch Wendy's 'Hot Topics' daily, and some of the things she said during Caitlyn Jenner's very public transition were beyond questionable. At that time, much of the nation was learning to navigate trans visibility for the first time and needed guidance and clarity from the media. But instead Wendy repeatedly spouted ignorance and transphobic rhetoric to a daily audience of millions."
