Uh, they better deliver more episodes after they left us with THAT cliffhanger!
Unfortunately, though, it seems like there's nothing in the works yet for more Gilmore Girls episodes. At least according to two of the show's main stars!

On Sunday, Deadline hosted an Emmy-themed The Contenders event where Alexis Bledel and Lauren Graham were both present. And of course they were asked about the possibility of more GG eps.
"If it all existed in a vacuum, I would play that character until my dying day… Now it's become what could we do with this story that is satisfying, that is worth continuing. I don't know if there is a need to do more. I wouldn't want it to feel like we overstayed our welcome."
She also noted that the first revival had already been in talks and reported on in the news before any of the actors were formally approached. That's definitely promising!
"[It all depends on] what story we're telling… I'm just interested in telling a story that is dynamic and that I can hook into."
Hello? We think Rory's story DEFINITELY needs to be told, considering the bombshell she dropped on us in the last ep of the revival!
Apparently, Netflix is game for more episodes, but it's all obviously up to the showrunners.
In March, Netflix's Chief Content Officer Ted Sarandos said that there were some "very preliminary" talks underway with Warner Bros. for more Gilmore Girls.
"We hope [it happens]. We obviously loved the success of the show [and] fans loved how well it was done; it delivered what they hoped. The worst thing is to wait a couple of years for your favorite show to come back and for it to disappoint you, but [series creator Amy Sherman-Palladino and exec producer Dan Palladino] sure delivered and people were really excited about more. And we have been talking to them about the possibility of that."
We wait and hope!
