Linkin Park members are offering resources to those struggling with the same demons as Chester Bennington.

A week after the frontman died by suicide via hanging, bandmate Mike Shinoda thanked fans for respecting the band's privacy.

The performer offered suggestions to fans hoping to celebrate the lead singer's life in a moving Instagram post, and also provided resources to those who are struggling with suicidal thoughts of their own.

The musician shared multiple links on Friday, writing:

"One week. Feels like forever. I'm here for a couple updates… 1.) If you need a (local) place to celebrate Chester, look to tiny.cc/lpmemorial and all the amazing fan sites I've previously mentioned. 2.) If you're having suicidal thoughts, go to chester.linkinpark.com"

Shinoda also cautioned those planning to "buy merch in honor of Chester," telling fans to keep a lookout for "scumbag bootleggers" trying to make money off of the singer's passing. He added:

"If you're going to buy merch in honor of Chester, consider who the purchase benefits. Don't give money to scumbag bootleggers and opportunists. Linkin Park official merchandise is at store.linkinpark.com."

For those wanting to donate to an organization in Bennington's honor, Shinoda suggested musicforrelief.org — the website states that all donations to Music for Relief "now be directed to the One More Light Fund in honor of Chester Bennington."

It's good to see Chester's bandmate reaching out to fans during this time of grief. Read his full post (below).
