Omarosa Manigault Speaks About White House Resignation, Says She Witnessed Situations That Made Her 'Uncomfortable'!

Omarosa Manigault is already pursuing those career opportunities… TV interviews and inevitable book deals!

The former reality star-turned-White House staffer stopped by GMA on Thursday to set the record straight on her recent resignation, denying reports that a messy, Apprentice-style firing actually went down.

Though the former advisor confirmed Secret Service deactivated her pass and reduced her access to the more classified areas — per White House protocol — she made it clear she was NOT given the boot by Chief of Staff John Kelly, despite reports claiming otherwise.

But that doesn't mean there was no drama during her stint as director of communications for the White House Public Liaison Office. In fact, being the only black woman in Donald Trump's administration, she hinted at witnessing a year's worth of situations that made her "uncomfortable."

Some of these situations included Trump's handling of the Charlottesville riots and his endorsement of Roy Moore, which sparked the 43-year-old to have a "candid conversation" with Kelly in the White House Situation Room. She explained:

"John Kelly and I had a very straightforward discussion about concerns that I had, issues that I raised and, as a result, I resigned."

Omarosa denied reports that Kelly restricted her access to Trump, adding that he brought "much needed order to the West Wing," but admitted her close relationship with POTUS caused friction among the rest of the staff:

"Certainly I had more access than most and people had problems with that. People had problems with my 14-year relationship with this president."

While she was happy to serve the president and answer any questions he had, the reality star admitted there "were a lot of things that I observed during the last year that I was very unhappy with."

Like what, you ask? Don't worry — she'll tell us, in due time! Omi continued:

"But when I have my story to tell as the only African-American woman in this White House; as a senior staff and assistant to the president, I have seen things that have made me uncomfortable, that have upset me, that have affected me deeply and emotionally, that has affected my community and my people. And when I can tell my story, it is a profound story that I know the world will want to hear."

And it's a profound story we know she'll want to sell!

As Robin Roberts said after Michael Strahan's interview aired, "Bye Felicia":

Ha!

Omarosa will stay on until Jan. 20. Watch her full interview (below).
