Rose McGowan wouldn't be surprised if Harvey Weinstein had upwards of 2,000 victims.
With that said — she, like many others, are wondering how many courageous women must come forward before the disgraced movie producer actually faces criminal charges.
In a new interview with Good Morning America on Tuesday, the 44-year-old actress asserts "everybody knew" in Hollywood about Weinstein's terrible behavior.
After the incident, McGowan reached a $100,000 settlement in exchange for her silence. However, she reveals she initially tried to use the settlement money to purchase a billboard:
"It was my only way of saying, ‘I didn't like this. I didn't want this.' It was my only form of voice."
As far as the investigations in Los Angeles, New York, and the United Kingdom, Rose asks why no charges have been pressed:
"I wish there were charges because I find it very strange, like how many women does it take? We're at over 100 on the list … We keep adding to it. I would probably estimate like there's got to be over 1,000, 2,000, because this is a lifelong career of rape for this man."
She adds of why Harvey's actions went unchecked for so many years:
"For me he's a sick person. He's a sick mind, but what about all the others? There were so many. The machinery set up in every country he would go to. For the handlers to hand him the victims, from starting with the agents and managers. When I say it's a complicity machine, it is."
If this isn't the epitome of black girl magic, we don't know what is!!
Earlier this week, 22-year-old Tia Freeman took to Twitter to detail the craziest birth story we've ever read. No, seriously, I Didn't Know I Was Pregnant couldn't even handle this ish.
Apparently, the Air Force member learned she was significantly pregnant back in January. Per Miz Freeman, she was on birth control that made it so she didn't get her period every month. Thus, she was already in her third trimester when her pregnancy was confirmed.
