Sad news for the family and friends of Survivor Palau contestant Jennifer Lyon.

The gorgeous 37-year-old passed away at home in Oregon on Tuesday after a long battle with breast cancer.

Lyon was diagnosed with stage three breast cancer back in 2005. After deciding to get a double mastectomy which was followed by chemotherapy, many thought she was in the clear.

Survivor: Panama star Austin Carty, who briefly dated Jen back in 2006, reveals:

"Jen was a genuinely selfless, sweet-natured person. She always had a smile. She cared about every person.

She was engaged in the greatest fight of her life, but she had every intention to fight and spread her positive messages.”

Our thoughts go out to all of those in Lyon's life and everyone affected by cancer.

So sad.

Glen W. Bell Jr., the founder of Taco Bell, has passed away.

He was 86 years old.

We hope he's enjoying a big chulupa in the sky!

Legendary R&B singer Teddy Pendergrass passed away on Wednesday at the age of 59.

He began his career as a drummer, but became well known in the 70s as the lead singer for Harold Melvin & the Blue Notes. Pendergrass left the band for a solo career and had several hits dubbed musical aphrodisiacs, such as I Don't Love You Anymore, Close the Door, Turn off the Lights and Love TKO.

In 1982, a devastating car accident left the singer paralyzed from the waist down, but he continued his musical career performing from his wheelchair. About 8 months ago, Pendergrass had undergone surgery for colon cancer and it was the difficult recovery that led to his passing.

He will be greatly missed.

Sad news today in the music word.

Garage rock legend Jay Reatard passed away on Tuesday night in his hometown of Memphis, Tennessee.

Reatard, born Jimmy Lee Lindsey Jr., was only 29.

Jay's label, Matador Records, has released a statement on the musician's untimely passing:

"Jay was as full of life as anyone we've ever met, and responsible for so many memorable moments as a person and artist. We’re honored to have known and worked with him, and we will miss him terribly."

So, so sad.

Our thoughts are with his loved ones.

This is touching.

Natasha Richardson will be honored at the amfAR Gala on February 10 with her mother Vanessa Redgrave, actress Meryl Streep and amfAR founding chairman Dr. Mathilde Krim taking part in the tribute.

Redgrave and Natasha's sister Joely Richardson are co-chairing the event.

Natasha Richardson was on the board of trustees since 2006 and was a passionate advocate for AIDS research as her father Tony Richardson died from AIDS-related complications back in 1991.

The black-tie event and auction will include performances by Lady GaGa and Rufus Wainwright.

Natasha left behind her husband Liam Neeson and their two sons Michael and Daniel after suffering a fatal brain injury while skiing in Quebec.

So sad.

Incoming from left field!

Georgi Dochev, a young Bulgarian model who was present the night Boyzone singer Stephen Gately tragically died, is now coming forward with some shocking information.

According to Georgi, he, Stephen, and Stephen's partner, Andy Cowles were in a two year relationship with one another! Georgi told a Bulgarian radio station that the three men met regularly and that he "did it" with both of them.

Then, he reveals that the night before Stephen's death, the men had a threesome on the sofa - the same sofa Stephen was found lying dead in the following morning!

Insane!

Andy, is this true???

Casey Johnson has been finally laid to rest today on the East Coast by her family.

There has also been talk that complications from diabetes likely caused her death.

What's the hold up?!

We've learned this morning that socialite Casey Johnson was not laid to rest yesterday on her family's New Jersey property as earlier reported. A source close to the family wouldn't give any explanation, only stating that it is a "private family matter."

Perhaps this is just a way to confuse the photogs into showing up at the wrong place, wrong time. We can understand that.

Heiress Casey Johnson will be laid to rest on Sunday in New Jersey.

Nicky and Paris Hilton are expected to attend the burial and there is a memorial set for the following day.
