Good for him!

Sir Ian McKellen slammed the sports industry for the lack of acceptance of openly gay athletes and asserts that many sports stars are too "afraid" to "come out" because they fear losing fans and support.

He tells the BBC:

"When it comes to the business of simply being honest about who they are, some of them (sports stars) become little shrinking violets because they're afraid, probably, of being booed from the terraces, and that must be a horrible experience and shame on people who do it.

"But it ain't (sic) going to stop someone being a fantastic footballer because they're honest about their private lives, is it? I don't believe so and the world is changing and sport, I'm afraid, is very slow to catch up."

We agree!

Come out, Cristiano Ronaldo! We're waiting for you! Wishful thinking…

Well, according to Out Magazine, he practically is!

Hottie Ben Winshaw has been called "one of Britain’s great actors” as his breakout performances flood the indie scene, but it's his recent theater roles that interest us!

Ben is finishing a run in Cock, a play about sexuality and labels as a man takes a break from his boyfriend only to fall in love with a woman, at London's Royal Court Theater. And his next role is in the off-Broadway show, The Pride, which contrasts the experiences of gay men in 1958 and 2008.

Considering his choice of productions, it's possible Ben might have something he wants to tell us!

“Maybe it’s subconscious, I don’t know,” Winshaw says of his newest roles. “It’s intriguing to me that these parts come along. Of course the choices you make express something about you to the world, and of course the work I do is all about me, but rather than me standing up and making statements about myself and things, I’d prefer to let the work do the speaking.”

We just wanna hear you say it, bb!

Amazing!

If only we could get this kind of response from our First Lady!

Cindy McCain, mother of vocal marriage equality advocate Meghan McCain and wife to Senator John McCain, has come forward as part of the NOH8 campaign to take a stand for marriage equality.

We couldn't be more pleased to see Cindy take part in this issue because her support proves the one point we've always tried to promote. This is a human rights issue. It has nothing to do with being a Democrat or Republican. It is about seeing AMERICANS treated equally by law!

Bravo, Cindy! Welcome to the cause!

This is really nice to see!

Rosie O'Donnell and ex-wife Kelli Carpenter reunited with their 4 children Parker, Chelsea, Blake and Vivienne at HBO's documentary screening of A Family is A Family: A Rosie O'Donnell Celebration.

It's great that they can put aside their differences and be in the same room together with their kids. Not all children affected by divorce are as lucky!

Not that we're surprised! Human rights has never been on the country's agenda!

Police have canceled China's first gay pageant just an hour before it was about to start!

On Friday, the Mr. Gay China pageant was to take place in an upscale night club in Beijing, which featured a fashion show and host in drag until authorities showed up.

"They said the content, meaning homosexuality, there's nothing wrong with that, but you did not do things according to procedures," said witness Ben Zhang.

Officials told him that he needed government approval for events that included performance, but they have been known to harass the gay community and break up any gatherings deemed politically sensitive.

"I feel really sad. This was going to be a very good event to show a positive image of gay people," said Wei Xiaogang, said event judge and host of Queer Comrades, a popular Internet talk-show on gay issues.

The pageant was a step in the right direction for a country that had homosexuality on a list of mental disorders until 2001 and criminalized sodomy until 1997.

The winner of Mr. Gay China was to compete in the worldwide Mr. Gay pageant in Oslo, Norway, but judges will still send a contestant to compete.

Lady GaGa is taking the fight for equality to the Jersey shore this weekend as she will host a gala supporting making same-sex marriage legal in America.

GaGaloo will present the Hands Up for Marriage Equality benefit in Atlantic City, New Jersey, on Saturday and the funds raised from the event will benefit four incredible organizations: Empire State Pride Agenda, Equality Pennsylvania, Garden State Equality, and The Power.

GaGa released a statement about the event, saying:

"I am honored to be able to continue to raise awareness and money for this cause and these outstanding organizations. Organizations like these are in the trenches every day working on behalf of all of us whether you are LGBT or straight. Equal and full civil rights are supposed to be for all of us.”

Hell yes! Show the Garden State that they voted WRONG!

Did Aubrey O'Day not breathe the entire time last night?

The tittay-shaker showed up at the Heel Hate California Entertainer of the Year pageant and silent auction event at the Sunset House of Blues in West Hollywood yesterday.

The event was for a great cause though, benefiting the Matthew Shepard Foundation and the NOH8 Campaign.

But seriously, was Aubrey even able to sit down?

Her boobs are practically screaming for help to be released.

Stop trying to turn into Mariah Carey, honey. Only she can pull off those extremely-tight outfits with boobies all over the place and still look somewhat classy.

Incoming from left field!

Georgi Dochev, a young Bulgarian model who was present the night Boyzone singer Stephen Gately tragically died, is now coming forward with some shocking information.

According to Georgi, he, Stephen, and Stephen's partner, Andy Cowles were in a two year relationship with one another! Georgi told a Bulgarian radio station that the three men met regularly and that he "did it" with both of them.

Then, he reveals that the night before Stephen's death, the men had a threesome on the sofa - the same sofa Stephen was found lying dead in the following morning!

Insane!

Um, who said you were?

Oh yeah - one of your disease ridden hoe-bags.

During a recent radio interview, Monica Danger, a "snubbed" contestant from For The Love of Ray J, told the world that Ray J was not only gay, but shacking up with rapper Young Buck.

Almost immediately, Ray J made a pointed statement, accusing Monica of fabricating the stories because he wouldn't return her phone calls. Ray J explains:

"I still got love for Danger, that’s one of my peoples (sic). But I didn’t (return) her calls for the last 2-3 weeks. So she threatened to say ‘I’m going to tell people you’re gay!’ She went along and actually did it! I’m not gay but I got love for gay people because I work with gay people… girls and dudes. I’m comfortable with my sexuality."

We believe you Ray…just as soon as we hear Young Buck deny the whole thing too!
