Whitney Houston is set to make over $2 million just performing at a London charity event!
Well, that kind of defeats the whole purpose of “charity” doesn’t it?
Houston has been booked by billionaire philanthropist John Caudwell to perform for ONE hour only at the Cauldwell Children Legends Ball at London’s Battersea Evolution arena on May 8, 2008.
TWO million dollars, for ONE hour????
Shouldn’t they just DONATE those $2 mil to the charity? Or at least make it a donation to the charity under Whitney’s name?
A source said, “Mr. Caudwell thinks it is important to raise the profile of the Cauldwell Children charity and stars such as Whitney Houston are the sort of people he’s hoping to attract.”
We think he should attract stars that won’t charge millions to perform at charity events!
Houston, by the way, has the habbit of failing to turn up for shows and appearances.
How’d this dude make billions???? He doesn’t seem to have much financial sense to us!
