Well, this happened a bit earlier than expected!
Madonna‘s publicist, Liz Rosenberg, confirmed the media speculation on Wednesday, saying that the singer and her husband, film director Guy Ritchie, will divorce after 7├é┬╜ years of marriage.
A statement, e-mailed to The Associated Press from Rosenberg, said that the couple had agreed to divorce, and requested the media maintain respect their privacy.
The statement, co-signed by Ritchie’s representative, said the couple have not agreed to a settlement.
And there’s A LOT to settle! Madonna is worth a reported $500 million +.
M is scheduled to perform in concert tonight in Boston. Should be interesting to see if she addresses this or not.
