The effects of the strike are really being felt!
With just a few days left in February for sweeps, most networks are finding it hard to keep their ratings and viewership up.
Surprisingly, though, Fox is expected to win in the ratings with a towering 6.9 average among key adults in the age 18-49 demographic. This is a huge jump at 41% higher than last year. Fox is averaging an estimated 17.8 million viewers.
What’s been helping Fox this year? Well, having the most watched Super Bowl in 8 years didn’t hurt, with 97.5 million viewers. American Idol is also helping by averaging 27.6 million viewers.
Behind Fox…
ABC is in second place and down 21%.
Ya, the Oscars tanked! Lowest rated ever.
NBC is in third place for sweeps, followed by CBS and the CW network.
Is there anything good on TV still worth watching?
