According to a new report, Tommy boy lost the lead role in Columbia’s pix flick Edwin A. Salt.

What? Why would someone turn down Tom Cruise???

Well, producers didn’t want to pay the fee Tom was demanding.

Looks like Hollywood doesn’t think he’s worth the $20 million per pic he used to get!

The studio is supposedly eyeing Tom’s friend Will Smith as the man to take on the lead.

Aw…will that spark a lover’s quarrel?
