
Yay for freedom of speech and expression!
A federal appeals court has thrown out a $550,000 fine against CBS for the 2004 Super Bowl halftime show that ended with Janet Jackson‘s “wardrobe malfunction.”
On Monday, a three-judge panel in Philadelphia ruled that the Federal Communications Commission “acted arbitrarily and capriciously” in issuing the fine for the fleeting image of nudity.
We think all the puritans freaked out for nothing.
Her nip was covered with a tassel!
We’ve seen “worse” on TV.
