The Reverend Al Sharpton is probably breathing a little easier today!
The Feds have dropped their criminal probe of shady books and tax fraud by the Rev and his National Action Network.
That means no indictment or jail time, or even an appearance before a grand jury.
However, the source says he’s agreed to pay millions in back taxes.
Another interesting point: that signals that the government will not pursue allegations that he extorted contributions from corporations in exchange for not protesting against them.
Time to pay off those lawyer’s bills!
