Like momma says, lies always catch up to you.
David Letterman, again, gave it good to lying presidential candidate John McCain on Thursday night.
Dave likened McCain’s diss on him for Katie Couric Wednesday night to feeling like ‘an ugly date’.
At first, Letterman said to his Thursday night audience, he felt like a “patriot” to let McCain off, but, “Now I’m feeling like an ugly date. I feel used. I feel cheap. I feel sullied.”
Dave went on to weave McCain slams into his material the rest of the night.
In a bit about David Blaine, the magician who just completed a hanging stunt in Central Park, Dave threw out this McCain zinger, saying, “They just left the guy hanging there. It’s the same thing McCain did to me last night.”
Dave’s celebrity guest that night was heiress Paris Hilton, whom he described as McCain’s first choice for a running mate.
And, noting that Johnny boy wanted to bow out of the first debate with Obama, Letterman said running mate Sarah Palin wanted to put off her debate with Democrat Joe Biden until after Election Day.
LOL!
He also said Palin’s United Nations appearance was like “take-your-daughter-to-work day.”
During his interview later in the show with Paris, Letterman reportedly couldn’t resist another mention of the GOP candidate. As y’all know McCain negatively likened Barack to Paris in one of his political ads. Letterman said to Paris, “I heard he dissed you. He dissed me.”
Hope McCain is having fun laying in the bed he made.
